Get the tools you need to become a respected industry leader and advocate.
Drexel LeBow’s Master of Health Administration (MHA) program provides you with the knowledge required to successfully navigate and pursue leadership or senior management and planning roles in health services or systems, risk, insurance, compliance, research or related industries.
Master the latest, evidence-based health care management theories and practice applications, while honing your transformational leadership, financial, analytical thinking and interpersonal communications skills.
You’ll study with faculty members who are doctorally prepared educators with advanced experience in managed care, nonprofit organizations, physician practice management, and hospital and research-based ethics consultations.
The online format enables you to learn on your own schedule while still providing ample opportunities to connect with your professors and classmates.
Instead of a thesis requirement, you’ll complete a mandatory five-day campus residency with your fellow classmates.
The MHA program is designed for experienced health care professionals seeking to explore the three areas of health leadership: transformation, execution and people. The program’s curriculum is grounded in the business of health care, with every class focusing on real-life application to some aspect of the health care industry.
With its solid focus on real-world application, the online MHA program is grounded in the National Center for Healthcare Leadership’s Competency Model — the leading model used by accredited graduate education programs to build proven leadership competencies across the health professions.
Our curriculum is organized around three key domains: transformation, execution and people. It’s designed to give you the skills needed to move up the executive management ladder, covering strategic planning, practice management, team building, project coordination, public policy and financial oversight. You’ll also broaden your leadership perspective with advanced coursework in epidemiology, biostatistics, health care economics, ethics and law.
